It was great to drop down to photograph bar manager Jake Moffat and general manager Kim Stacey at Restaurant e18hteen yesterday and to taste their super delicious non-alcoholic holiday drink for our 12 days of Christmas series! Recently renovated, e18hteen is one of the coolest most elegant restaurants in The Market, and their Masala chai apple cider totally reflects that! It absolutely tastes and smells like Christmas, with it’s fresh ingredients; MacIntosh apples, cinnamon, ginger, star anise, pepper corns, cardamom and warm cider. Drop down and have Jake mix one up for you, even if you’re not the designated driver!

Thanks so much to all the great restaurants, bars and hotels in Ottawa who care so much for their patrons and our community by offering such awesome non-alcoholic cocktails for designated drivers during the festive season. Thanks also to great initiatives like Operation Red Nose who by the generous assistance of volunteers and sponsors help people get their cars home if they’ve had too much to drink. Happy and safe holidays from loveOttawa!
