positively shouting out loud for ottawa
Nick Bachusky and Andrew Miller photographed in Hintonburg.
I had the opportunity to photograph Nick Bachusky and Andrew Miller yesterday, who while not working in their real-estate businesses, are shouting out about Ottawa through their very positive and successful local podcast – Lunch Out Loud Ottawa. Both Nick and Andrew are so positive about our town and sharing stories about others who are doing great things in Ottawa. And the boys are super passionate about sharing positive stories about local food, local beer, local music – local everything!

The cool thing about Nick and Andrew is that they both genuinely care so much about our city – not just so they can share stories about Ottawa but also to hopefully with the positive influence, make it a better place to live and work. They also believe strongly in including Gatineau into what’s great about Ottawa, including a wonderful small restaurant called Chez Edgar and award winning owner Marysol Foucault. “Yes there’s a river separating us, but so many reasons for both cities to cross it!”
There are so many favourite Ottawa restaurants between Nick and Andrew, but the few that definitely stand out for them are Union 613, El Camino, and they love that ZaZaZa Pizza is doing so well. And of course Di Rienzo’s for their awesome sandwiches!
Please take some time to check out the Lunch Out Loud podcast on iTunes to help Nick and Andrew dispel the old and negative attitude that Ottawa is a boring town, because it’s the farthest from the truth. With the help of podcast segments by Foodie Prints and Ottawa Showbox, you’ll not only learn about what’s happening in town, but who’s keeping Ottawa moving forward positively!
