The Best Ottawa Hotels, Inns and Bed & Breakfasts

Ottawa has some wonderful downtown hotels, including the beautiful Westin Ottawa and the historic Chateau Laurier Hotel. There are many affordable hotels in Ottawa, as well as a diverse range of well-known hotel chains, resort properties, suite hotels, and smaller Ottawa boutique hotels like The Arc Hotel, The Indigo, as well as Bed and Breakfasts. Whether you’re looking for a luxury hotel in downtown Ottawa or a more modest Bed & Breakfast with character, Ottawa has the accommodations to suit all of your travel needs and budget.

The Westin Hotel Ottawa
11 Colonel By Drive  (613) 560-7000
Whether visiting for business or pleasure, treat yourself to unparalleled views of Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal or a short walk to the historic ByWard Market. When staying at the Westin Ottawa, take a dip in their naturally refreshing salt water pool, or power up at their newly renovated WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio.

Lord Elgin Hotel
100 Elgin Street  (866) 627-2609
(this hotel is one of the oldest and only locally owned Ottawa Landmark Hotels downtown, it’s surprisingly affordable and the staff are amazingly friendly – make sure you ask for a ‘view of the park’)

Chateau Laurier Hotel
1 Rideau Street (613) 241-1414
(this is the oldest Ottawa Landmark Hotel to stay in, there’s so much history here – rock stars to royalty have stayed here)

The Ottawa Courtyard by Marriott
350 Dalhousie Street  (613) 241-1000
This is one of the best locations and most affordable hotels in Ottawa, located right in the heart of the Byward Market.

Arc The Hotel
140 Slater Street  (800) 699-2516
(a beautiful and modern Ottawa Boutique downtown Hotel)

Delta Ottawa City Centre Hotel
101 Lyon Street  (613) 237-3600

The Hilton Lac-Leamy
3 Boulevard du Casino, Gatineau (819) 790-6444
(this is probably one of the nicest, most attention-to-detail Gatineau Hotels near Ottawa – and it has a lovely view of The City of Ottawa from the Quebec side of the river, so ask for a room that looks out over the lake and Ottawa. It’s also adjacent to the Lac-Leamy Casino)

The Marriott Hotel on Kent and Queen
100 Kent Street  (613) 238 1122
(this Ottawa Hotel might be part of the large Marriott Hotel chain but it feels so small and so personable – Paul in room service is always ready to take care of you. And it even has a Starbucks in the hotel on the main floor!)

Albert at Bay Suite Hotel
435 Albert Street  (613) 238-8858
(this Ottawa Suite Hotel is great because of their larger suites with full kitchens, so it’d be great for a family vacation to Ottawa or a longer business stay)

Brookstreet Hotel
525 Legget Drive  (888) 826.2220 or  (613) 271.1800
The Brookstreet Hotel is an Ottawa luxury business hotel, located in the heart of Kanata’s High-Tech Park.

Hotel Indigo
123 Metcalfe Street  (866) 246-3446
(this is a really nice cute Ottawa Boutique Hotel. It’s owned by the same folks who own the Lord Elgin Hotel so if the Indigo is full, ask if they can find you a room there!)

Minto Suite Hotel Ottawa
185 Lyon Street N  (613) 232-2200 (The Minto Suite Hotel is a luxurious and contemporary downtown Ottawa Hotel – great for a family holiday or an extended hotel stay)

The Delta Hotel Ottawa
(888) 890-3222

Holiday Inn Express Suites Ottawa Airport
2881 Gibford Drive  (613) 247-9500
